Summitstar Studios is a private, full‑service recording and production facility with two locations in Peoria and Phoenix, Arizona. We offer 12,000 sq ft of creative space—soundstages, podcast studios, DaVinci color grading suites, editing rooms, live rooms, an isolated vocal booth, a screening theatre and production offices—to handle every stage of the creative process . From recording music and podcasts to editing and color grading feature films, we provide the expertise, equipment and environment to make your vision a reality.
Our Story
First founded in 1987 in officially formed in 1994 by filmmaker and creative visionary Michael Giannantonio, Summitstar Studios began with a simple mission: to translate creative visions into memorable, highly cinematic images — and to do it with passion and integrity . Michael’s early projects revealed a gap in Arizona’s production landscape: there were no private studios that could offer end‑to‑end support for independent filmmakers and artists. By combining his own filmmaking experience with a commitment to excellence, he built a facility that could do just that. Today Summitstar Studios has served thousands of clients worldwide.
